Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of Cozy Stream Bot ("the service"): the website, the stream widgets (overlays) and the Twitch chat bot. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

2. The service

Cozy Stream Bot provides productivity widgets for live streams (pomodoro timer, task list, tree and other widgets), a chat bot that connects them to your Twitch channel, and a dashboard to configure them. The features of each plan are described on the pricing page.

3. Your account

• You sign in with your Twitch account and must keep it secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You must follow the Twitch Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when using the service on your channel.
• You are responsible for the content shown on your stream through the widgets and the bot, including the messages you configure and the tasks your viewers add. Moderate your chat as you normally would; the streamer and moderators can remove tasks at any time.
• The bot needs to be allowed in your channel (we recommend making it a moderator) to answer commands.
• Keep your overlay URLs private: anyone with the URL can display your widgets.

4. Free trial, plans and payment

• Free trial. Each streamer can enjoy one free trial of 14 days of the plan they choose, without entering a payment method. If no payment method is added before the trial ends, the trial ends automatically and nothing is charged.
• Plans and prices. Advanced: 3 € per month or 30 € per year; Premium: 4.99 € per month or 49.90 € per year. Prices include VAT where applicable; checkout may show them converted to your local currency.
• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, and the payment method on file is charged, until you cancel.
• Reseller. Subscriptions are sold through Link (Stripe), which acts as the merchant of record: it processes the payment, charges the VAT or sales tax of your country, issues the invoices and receipts, and appears on your bank statement as LINK.COM*. Link's own terms apply to the payment. We never see or store card details.
• Cancellation. You can cancel, switch plans or update your payment method at any time from the dashboard ("Manage subscription") or from your Link account. After cancelling you keep your plan until the end of the period already paid; periods already started are not refunded, except as described in section 5.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a few days. If it still cannot be collected, the subscription ends and your account returns to the unpaid state; your settings are kept.
• Price changes. We will notify you at least 30 days before a price change, which only applies from your next renewal. If you don't agree, you can cancel before it applies.

5. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason. During a free trial nothing is charged, so you can simply cancel. If you subscribed without a trial, write to us or to Link support within 14 days of your first payment and the payment will be refunded in full, using the same payment method.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything illegal, hateful, harassing or that breaks Twitch's rules;
• attack, overload, scrape or try to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data;
• resell or sublicense the service, or share your account with other streamers;
• copy or reverse engineer the service, except where the law expressly allows it.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, after warning you when reasonably possible.

7. Intellectual property

The software, design, illustrations, animations and sounds of the service belong to us or our licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them in your streams, including recordings and clips of those streams. You keep all rights to your own content; you allow us to process it only to provide the service.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and reliable, but it depends on third parties such as Twitch and Google Cloud, and there may be interruptions or maintenance. We may improve, change or remove features over time. If we ever shut down the service we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

9. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages such as lost revenue or lost viewers, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any right you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Ending the contract

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to us; if you have an active subscription, cancel it first from the dashboard. We may end or suspend the service for you if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For important changes we will notify you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the new terms take effect.

12. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence. Before going to court, please write to us — we will try to solve any problem quickly.

Twitch is a trademark of Twitch Interactive, Inc. Cozy Stream Bot is an independent service and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Twitch.
